Its role is to direct readers to Preston County and West Virginia custodians, such as the Sheriff's Office, Circuit and Magistrate courts, West Virginia State Police Criminal Identification Bureau, and West Virginia State Police Sex Offender Registry, along with outside tools that may assist general research.
